The NDAA has been created to augment the jumping ability and athletisicm pivotal to mastering the art of the dunk through awareness, the teaching of dunking variations, facilitation of slam dunk contests in order to showcase skills and provide exposure for otherwise undiscovered talent in fraternal environment.. Mission: The primary mission of NDAA is to enhance the athleticism paramount to mastering the art of the dunk through slam dunk contests, slam dunk camps™ and slam dunk clinic™. In support of this mission, the NDAA is committed to: Providing an environment for achieving personal excellence and growth for all members, both on and off the court Providing the instruction necessary to significantly improve our members agility and jumping ability Being a catalyst in the lives of those who would otherwise not have the opportunity to refine their basketball skills Teaching dunking techniques and variations Facilitating slam dunk contests regularly in order to showcase otherwise unseen talent Developing a positive work ethic while encouraging the hard-work and discipline necessary to become, not only a successful athlete, but a team-player in the game of life Promoting the recognition/inclusion of the “dunk” as an official statistic
